CryoPen Cryotherapy

Target and remove unwanted skin imperfections with precision, safety, and speed.

At S18 Face Clinic, we’re proud to offer CryoPen cryotherapy, a highly effective treatment that removes benign skin lesions — including skin tags, age spots, milia, cherry angiomas, and warts — in a matter of seconds, with minimal discomfort and no damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

Delivered by our experienced aesthetic nurse, Nurse Emily, this treatment provides an advanced solution for skin blemishes that previously required GP or hospital referral.

What is CryoPen Cryotherapy?

CryoPen is a state-of-the-art device that delivers a fine, high-pressure jet of nitrous oxide to rapidly freeze and destroy unwanted tissue. The treatment is highly accurate — down to the millimetre — making it ideal for use on the face, neck, hands, and other sensitive areas.

Unlike older methods such as liquid nitrogen, CryoPen is controlled, clean, and doesn’t require anaesthetic or stitching. It allows us to treat specific areas without harming the surrounding skin, reducing the risk of scarring or pigmentation changes.

Common Conditions Treated

• Skin tags
• Warts and Verrucas
• Cherry angiomas (red moles)
• Age spots and pigmentation
• Milia (tiny white cysts)
… And more

What to Expect During Treatment

Consultation:
Nurse Emily will first assess the area to confirm it’s safe to treat and rule out any lesions requiring medical referral.

Treatment:
Most sessions last under 10 minutes. The lesion is treated with two quick freeze cycles using the CryoPen device.

Sensation:
The feeling is often described as a short, cold sting or mild discomfort. Anaesthetic is typically not required.

Aftercare:
Treated areas may darken, crust, or form a scab which naturally sheds within 7–14 days. Full aftercare guidance will be provided.
