Created by Nurse Joanna from a love of medical facial aesthetics and acheiving beautiful, natural and refreshed results for her clients. Nurse Joanna loves to teach and is now sharing her knowledge and passion with other medical professionals ready to embark on their own career in medical aesthetics.

What do we offer;

Foundation courses in dermal fillers and Botulinum toxin treatments are available at S18 face clinic aesthetic training.

Our Medical aesthetics training is delivered by Nurse Joanna for registered medical professionals – nurses, doctors, dentists, physiotherapists, ODP’s etc looking to branch out into the amazing and ever expanding world of medical aesthetics.

When you train with S18 Face Clinic Aesthetics Training, you will receive an industry-recognised qualification and the confidence, skills and tools to get set up and immediately start going with your own business. Ongoing continued support is provided and we will help you master your chosen treatments and succeed so you can be profitable as soon as possible.

Introduction to Botulinum Toxin Type A

This is a one day course, starting at 9am and finishing at approximately 6pm. Led by Nurse Jo, an Advanced Aesthetic Nurse with 9 years of expertise, this comprehensive training course covers Wrinkle-Relaxing Injections for frown lines, forehead, and crow’s feet.

The course covers in depth anatomy & physiology, consent, aftercare, complications and more, ensuring a well-rounded understanding.

Our commitment to quality includes keeping training groups small (up to four delegates) providing ample hands-on injectable practice. Delegates will leave not just knowledgeable, but confidently ready to practice their newfound skills. Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Nurse Jo is available to help with support following your training with prescribing it required.

Introduction to Dermal Fillers. Including Lip Enhancement / Nasolabial Folds and Marionette lines.

This is a two day course, over a full weekend starting at 9am and finishing at approximately 6pm Saturday and Sunday. Led by Nurse Jo, an Advanced Aesthetic Nurse with 9 years of expertise, this comprehensive training course covers dermal fillers for nasolabial folds and marionette lines on day 1 including learning both needle and micro cannula techniques. On day 2 we cover Lip Enhancement, we teach you a range of injection techniques to enable you to create beautiful, natural lip enhancement results for your own clients.

The course covers in depth anatomy & physiology, including facial artery supply and skin layers. We also cover consent, contra indications, aftercare, managing complications and more. Our commitment to quality includes keeping our training groups very small (up to four delegates) providing plenty of hands-on injectable practice. Our delegates will leave not just knowledgeable, but confident, ready to practice their newfound dermal filler skills. Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Our training sessions will be kept small, with a maximum of just four delegates. This will ensure our delegates have plenty of hands-on injectable practice time. We will also ensure there is plenty of time to ask questions throughout the day.

Our trainer, Nurse Joanna is friendly, approachable & knowledgeable with 9 years experience working full time in facial aesthetics.

Our aim is to give you the skills and confidence you need to walk out of our door and start practicing safely in your new career.

From start to finish, Jo is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to aesthetics. I knew as soon as she set up the courses that I wanted to learn from her. The clinic was a perfect setting to learn from and I felt very confident injecting by the end, with the correct theory behind me. As a physiotherapist, I did not have the same level of experience with syringes as the others, but Jo made me me comfortable and able to use these safely by the end of the course. Jo had so much time for questions throughout the day and after we had injected. She continues to support us tutees now we have done the training too. Jo is the most brilliant teacher, she has such a friendly and calming manner, has the ability to make everything seem so simple. The resources provided gave me everything I needed for the days learning, and will be a great source of reference when I start injecting. The class size was small which was pertect for interaction between us delegates and added to a really friendly atmosphere. Lots of access to hands on practise, made all the better by Jo sharing her years of clinical experience and tips as we were practicing on our models. The venue was perfect, easy parking and lunch was delicious! I'm so excited to get started on my aesthetics journey. Thank you an so much Jo!

Recently completed Botulinum Toxin type A training with Jo. The training had clearly been well researched and thought out, with high quality training materials provided. Jo was knowledgable and friendly encouraging questions throughout. A small number of training delegates ensured we all got the 1:1 time with models to get hands on experience. Overall this was a great introduction to aesthetics nursing and has given me the confidence to start practicing. I wouldn't hesitate to book further training with Jo should this be provided!
