Joanna is an Aesthetic Nurse and the founder of S18 Face Clinic. Joanna is trained to an advanced level in a wide range of aesthetic treatments including toxin, dermal filler, and skin boosters.
Joanna is friendly, welcoming and will always ensure you feel comfortable during your time in the clinic.
‘Hi I’m Joanna, I’m the Aesthetic Nurse and founder of S18 Face Clinic.
I began my Nurse training at Sheffield Hallam University in 2009, and graduated in 2012. After qualifying I spent 3 years working as a Neonatal Nurse within the in the NHS.
During my time working within the NHS I decided to pursue my passion of facial aesthetics and began retraining in this area.
2015 was an exciting year for me when after a significant amount of planning and development S18 Face Clinic was born.
Since this time I have continued to prioritise my professional development and have now trained to an advanced level, with some of the industry’s leading Aesthetic Nurses and Cosmetic Surgeons. I have expanded our team to include Nurse Amie & Skin & Laser Therapist Ella. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with a quality service of non-surgical cosmetic injectables, skin treatments and laser hair removal.
Our team regularly attend training sessions, workshops and conferences to ensure we keep our knowledge and skills up to date, so we can provide the best possible service and products.
We are registered & accredited by “Save Face” a government approved register of accredited medical practitioners, registered with the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) and an active member of the BACN (British Assosciation of Cosmetic Nurses.)
We offer relaxed and informal consultations for both aesthetic treatments and skin treatments. Our goal is to discuss your expectations, address any concerns you may have and create a bespoke treatment programme to meet your specific needs and requirements. Before and after your treatment we will be personally available over the telephone and email to address any after care queries you may have.
Whilst we understand that cosmetic treatments can be daunting, throughout your time in our clinic you will always be fully informed and supported from start to finish.
As our existing clients know, we have a genuine passion for facial aesthetics, and creating beautiful, natural enhancements to soften signs of ageing and allow you to look fresher, and feel the best possible version of you! But without looking ‘done’.

Nurse Amie
Aesthetic Nurse and Independent Prescriber
My journey into nursing began at Sheffield University in 2003, where I trained as a Learning Disability Nurse. Driven by a passion for further learning, I returned to Sheffield Hallam University in 2014 to become a Community Public Health Nurse. My creative flair and desire to empower others naturally drew me to the field of aesthetics.
In 2019, I furthered my professional development at Sheffield Hallam University, becoming a Nurse Prescriber to ensure safe and autonomous practice. With 7 years of experience in aesthetics, I specialise in achieving natural results through toxin treatments, injectables, and skincare. My philosophy is simple: if you’re thrilled with your results and yet no one notices, I consider it a double win!
I believe in a collaborative approach, where you feel truly supported and empowered throughout the process. You know your face best, and together, we will achieve the results you desire.
Outside of work, I cherish a peaceful life with my fiancé and our two puppas. We share a passion for paddle boarding, badminton, and fast cars… & find joy in our shared entrepreneurial ventures. I equally love interior design & DIY & think about my next project most days.

Ella
Skin & Laser Therapist
Ella is our dedicated Level 4 Skin & Laser Therapist and has been part of the S18 Face Clinic team for over five years. Known for her warm, friendly nature, Ella loves building genuine relationships with her clients and helping them feel confident in their skin.
Ella offers a range of advanced skin and laser treatments including Laser Hair Removal, Hydrafacial, Exceed Medical Microneedling, Exosome Therapy, Obagi Chemical Peels and Dermaplaning.
She also provides free skin consultations, allowing patients to discuss their concerns and receive personalised treatment and skincare recommendations tailored to their individual skin goals.
‘Hi, I’m Ella 👋
I’m an Advanced Skin & Laser Therapist and have been working in the aesthetics industry for over 7 years.
I completed my Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy qualifications between 2016–2018 before travelling to London to complete my Level 4 qualification in Laser & Advanced Skin Treatments.
I’ve now been part of the S18 Face Clinic team for over five years and absolutely love what I do. One of my favourite parts of the job is building long-term relationships with clients and seeing their confidence grow throughout their skin journey.
Outside of clinic life, I’m a total Pilates princess, love travelling, and I’m usually planning my next trip away ✈️
My favourite treatments to perform are Hydrafacial and Exceed Medical Microneedling. I love the instant glow Hydrafacial gives, but I also love educating clients on the long-term benefits of treatments such as medical microneedling and exosomes, and seeing the incredible improvements they can make to overall skin health and confidence over time.’
Nurse Emily
Emily is a registered nurse with 7 years of experience, and for the last 4 years she’s specialised in medical aesthetics, developing a true passion for dermal fillers. Emily is currently undertaking her non-medical prescribing course at Sheffield Hallam University.
She shares our ethos of natural, refined, barely-detectable results-the kind that leaves you feeling confident, but not overdone.
