Tear Trough

What happens during treatment?

Prior to the treatment taking place the area will be numbed with a topical anaesthetic to ensure  the treatment is as comfortable as possible.

Using Teoxane Redensity 2 (The only dermal filler in the UK licenced for treatment of the tear trough)  we can gently fill the hollow area using a cannula, this method means  only needle entry point is made per eye, significantly reducing the risk of bruising. This is so the safest option when treating the tear trough.

How long will the results last?

This treatment will give results for approximately 1 year.

The tear trough is the area below your eye which when appearing hollow can make you look tired even when you are well rested . This can sometimes be present from an early age. A tear trough dermal

filler treatment will correct this, it plumps up the tear trough area leaving you looking fresher, less tired and more youthful.

What happens after my treatment?

The results will continue to improve over the course of 2 weeks as the filler gently binds on to moisture and expands.

You can expect some redness and a little swelling following this treatment, and there is a risk of bruising.

It is important that you do not apply make up for the first day to reduce the risk of injection site infection. Though you will be given full aftercare instructions following your treatment.
